MIC 786-00 Retrovirology Journal Club – Dr. John Kappes

The Retrovirology Journal Club meets weekly during the semester to discuss specific topics in retrovirology, with an emphasis on HIV-1. The specific virology topic of discussion for each semester is selected based on discussion among the students during an organizational meeting. Each week of the semester a journal article is selected for presentation and discussion. This usually consists of a student presenting an overview of the field, as it relates to the specific journal article, followed by presentation of the data and discussion among the group.
