Bob Carter (b. 1955) Associate Professor of Medicine and Microbiology, received his MD in 1982 from Harvard. He began his current work as a post-doctoral fellow at Harvard in 1985. He held positions at Hopkins and Cambridge before joining the UAB faculty in 1994.
