Biography
Christopher A. Klug, Associate Professor, Department of Microbiology, received his B.S. degree in Biology from Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois, in 1987. He was awarded a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Molecular Genetics and Cell Biology, University of Chicago, in 1993. Dr. Klug received competitive fellowships from the NIH, Leukemia Society of America, American Cancer Society, and the Irvington Institute. His postdoctoral research was in the laboratory of Irving L. Weissman at Stanford University.
