Preston Bratcher received his B.S. degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He entered the Microbiology Graduate Program through the Cellular and Molecular Biology Program. Preston's work in Dr. Moon Nahm's lab is studying Streptococcus pneumoniae serogroup 6 and antibodies to capsular polysaccharides.
