Tamer Mahmoud graduated in 2000 (B.S. degree) from the School of Pharmacy at Cairo University, Egypt. He entered the Microbiology Graduate Program through the Cellular and Molecular Biology Program. He studies the role of Terminal deoxynucleotidyl Transferase (TdT) splice variants in generating the diversity of immunoglobulin CDR3 regions using transgenic mice.
