Kim Thomas earned her BS in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from CLU in Thousand Oaks, CA. She joined the Microbiology Graduate Program in 2007 through the Cellular and Molecular Biology (CMB) Program. Kim's project will focus on a mutant phosphatase and its role in autoimmune diseases like Type 1 Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and SLE.
